August's Sudden Chill and the Back-to-School Mystery

Here August has counted off 30 days.
End of summer. The weather unexpectedly swapped its 25-degree warmth for autumn chill, not even waiting for the calendar date.
A piercing cold wind feels like it broke off its chain.
Of course, it's still too early for this kind of weather, and nature will bring the warmth back, but the contrast is sharp anyway—ha, just so we don't get too comfortable.
My mood is normal, ready for work, and strangely enough, I love the cold more than the heat.
Before the start of the academic year, an air of intrigue lingers at work: will the teachers actually show up and the school open as usual, or will only the elementary school stay, while the rest of the kids have to travel to a neighboring school because ours has nobody left to teach them?
Well, there isn't much time left, and everything will be clear soon enough.
