July Days: An Unplanned Vacation and a New Passport

Mid-summer, July, vacation.
Ha, this summer turned out to be surprisingly pleasant.
The vacation I didn't even want to take ends on the 26th — well, nine days left. I hate taking these mandatory leaves, it completely messes up my routine, but there's no choice — they force you to take it.
My son came over for his vacation, but that was back in May.
Nothing new seems to be happening, and my mood is generally pretty good. Ha, maybe I just started watching less news. And what I do see, I just skim through.
In short, the month was pretty much about nothing.
Oh, I renewed my passport because it was time — surprisingly fast, too. Applied via Gosuslugi, went there the next day, handed over the photos, and an hour later they gave me the new one. So convenient!
