🛠️ From a hardware upgrade to the entropy of consciousness. Late-night thoughts... 🌌

The other day, I swapped my old RX 6600 for an RX 9060 XT. 😎 Hopefully, it was worth it — it's got 16 gigs of VRAM, compared to the measly 8 gigs on the 6600. 🚀 I turned on Resizable BAR. It never worked right on my 6600; my discrete sound card (Xonar AE) would constantly stutter whenever it was enabled. 🎵❌ I had to keep it off back then. It was probably because of the cut-down PCIe interface — it only ran on 8 lanes. 🔌 But the RX 9060 XT has all 16 lanes, just like it’s supposed to! 👍 Long story short, absolutely no issues with Resizable BAR now. Not sure if it actually gave me a performance boost or not. Looking at YouTube reviews, it adds a few frames but doesn't do any real magic. ✨🎮

I also overclocked the RAM a bit, up to 3400 MHz. 📈 It boots at 3600 too, but it’s unstable, so I’ll leave it at 3400. Especially since I’m running four sticks from completely different batches — it’s a total miracle they overclocked at all! 🎲🛠️

My son came home on leave, it's his 4th one already... 🪖❤️ Wonder how many more there will be... Oh well, enough about sad things. 😔

During my night shifts, I came up with a couple of story plots, but I haven't written them down yet. ✍️🌌 Maybe I won't. I don't think that's a bad thing; honestly, it's probably for the best. 🤫 Couldn't wriggle my way out of taking a vacation at work. Screw it, I'll go. 🏄‍♂️



Overall, life moves just like it’s supposed to — towards the expiration of our allotted time. ⏳ It would be fascinating to take a peek at that cosmic timer to see how much is left before it hits zero. 🎰 Everyone has their own, but it ticks for all of us, never stopping for a single second. ⏱️ It will all end with a personal act of the entropy of consciousness. 🌀 Like physicists say about electron-positron pairs popping up in the chaotic fluctuations of vacuum energy fields... 🌌⚛️ Our consciousness is just like that: a brief flash that will inevitably return its energy back into the common field. ⚡✨
